Aug. 29th, 2016 11:40 amIf Istas were a more cerebral kind of creature, she might find going on walkabout more puzzling.
At first, she had been alone. In her first world there had been the Pineapple Incident, and by the time she was done the Monks of the Moonlight Clovers were a sea of blood on their abbey floor. She had been pleased with this outcome. But the Trumps perhaps were not so much, as for the next world she found that Byerly was now at her side, and he kept insisting that savaging those who opposed them was not in fact appropriate.
Then there had been the wedding on the mountain. There had been, to Istas's great disappointment, minimal opportunities for carnage. But there had been much in the way of beautiful clothing and fashions for Istas to admire, so she considered this an acceptable outcome.
Now, yet another human had joined them, as they found themselves attending the Olympic Games of Ancient Greece. All around them, humans in peak physical condition competed in various activities while wearing the traditional sportswear of the time: absolutely nothing.
"They are not dressed properly," Istas accused, staring at the athletes.
